Today

Since 2007, Dr. Patrick Regamey has led the wines at Domaine Histoire d'Enfer SA; since 2008, he has shaped the estate as its founder. Those dates mark a methodical build, not a quick project: the agricultural choices come first, and the wines follow from them. Very low yields, no synthetic products, no pesticides, and sustainable agriculture define the site’s work before the grapes ever reach the cellar. Cornalin, Petite Arvine, and Pinot Noir are among his specialties, and they point to the range of the domaine’s expression. Across them, the same principle holds: quality anchored in respect for living things, with Valais terroirs kept legible rather than polished over. Recognition

Recognition came for Fendant «L'Enfer du Calcaire» Réserve V.V, named Falstaff's best Chasselas of 2025. Falstaff described it as a complex, elegant wine with great potential, which matches the estate’s preference for precision over ornament. In response, he wrote, "Encore 1000 merci pour cette belle reconnaissance."
