The Climb

Hospitality design here is built from multidisciplinary training and practice rather than a single interiors lane. Carnegie Mellon University and Cornell University shaped the creative framework Kristina O'Neal later carried into founding a concept and design agency with William Harris, then into AvroKO, where she has been co-founder / Founding Partner since 2001, and Hospitable Bridge, which she founded in 2020.

Today

The current design brief remains tied to connection, memory, and narrative in built space. O'Neal states it plainly: "We’re leaning back into what we’ve always done best: designing connected spaces that feel meaningful and narrative-driven."

In Their Words “Design should trigger memory, sensation, and possibly even coherence when done in the right way. It should feel like a return to some deep part of the human experience that modern life might even obscure.” “Cornell trained me to think in layered storytelling. I was a Multidisciplinary Art major, so there wasn’t really a box around creating.”
