Sarah Dandashy built her early career in that register, starting at Georgetown University before moving into a hostess role at the lobby bar at Four Seasons in Washington, DC. It was front-line work, close to the pace of a room and the pressure of a guest’s first impression, where a small adjustment can set the tone for an entire evening. Concierge work sharpened that same discipline. Sarah Dandashy went on to serve as hotel concierge at Hotels in the Los Angeles area in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, Los Angeles area, and later as hotel concierge at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Those roles depend on anticipation: reading requests before they are fully formed, making the difficult look ordinary, and treating service as a series of precise decisions rather than a performance. That approach became the basis for what she built next. Sarah Dandashy is founder of the Ask A Concierge brand of Ask A Concierge and co-host of The Creators Podcast, carrying the concierge’s habit of close observation into a broader public platform. The work remains grounded in the same craft: noticing detail, shaping experience, and understanding how hospitality works when it is done well.

Today

She is founder of Ask A Concierge. In concierge practice, the role is larger than reservations and directions. Sarah Dandashy has made that clear through Ask A Concierge, where the work is framed as interpretation as much as access: helping a guest feel oriented, informed, and properly received. The brand turns a front-desk skill set into something legible outside the hotel.
