The Path
Fine-dining progression shows up clearly in the way Alan Taudon moved through brigade structure and hotel service: BTS training gave him the technical base, Le Cinq placed him in a sous-chef role, and Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris, France put him in the Executive Chef seat effective June 1, 2026. Each step sits inside a different level of kitchen responsibility, but the through-line is the same: discipline, pace, and the ability to hold standards under pressure. Since 2014, Alan has been Head Chef of Restaurant L’Orangerie, Four Seasons Hotel George V, a post that asks for precision as much as for consistency in a dining room built on restraint.
The Work Today
The current work is framed less as authorship for its own sake than as exchange. Alan’s own line — "I am eager to share with Chef Dani García, as well as local food lovers, my universe and my vision." — places the table in dialogue with the kitchen, with the plate acting as the point where technique meets guest experience. At Restaurant L’Orangerie, Four Seasons Hotel George V, that means refinement without excess, and a style that keeps the conversation open while staying rooted in hospitality.
Signature
The signature plates point to a kitchen working through contrast, control, and clean construction. Alan Taudon’s Avocado and Cabbage Millefeuille reads as layered composition; Carrot Chips and Rice Cage leans into texture and structure; Beetroot Espuma shifts the register toward lightness and air; Sea urchin brings a marine note into the set. Taken together, the dishes show a chef using vegetable work, crisp forms, and visual precision to shape the first impression of a meal.
In Their Words “I am eager to share with Chef Dani García, as well as local food lovers, my universe and my vision.”
