Andrew Wong

Andrew Wong is the chef and founder of A.Wong in London, a Chinese restaurant in Pimlico/Victoria that his family originally ran as a Cantonese restaurant before he relaunched it under the A.Wong name. The restaurant opened in 2012 and earned its first Michelin star in 2017 and a second in 2021, making it the first Chinese restaurant in the West to hold two Michelin stars. He is also credited with having trained in London and studied regional Chinese cuisine in Chengdu, Beijing, and Hong Kong before building A.Wong’s modern interpretation of Chinese cooking.
