i. Biography
Austin Peterson is the winemaker at OVID Napa Valley in Napa Valley’s Pritchard Hill, where he has been with the estate since 2006 and served as winemaker since 2010. OVID’s official history says he started as an enologist under Andy Erickson and continues to guide the winery’s estate wines from its organically farmed vineyard on the east side of Napa Valley. A 2014 profile also describes him as an assistant winemaker at Ovid when he first joined and notes that he came from a wine family in California.
