i. Biography
The Making
Burgundy wine work often passes through two disciplines before it becomes domaine work: formal study and commercial fluency. Estate building in the Côte de Nuits requires a fixed relationship to parcels, labels, and repeatable cellar decisions. Since 2016, Camille Thiriet has worked as co-founder and co-owner / estate grower of Domaine Camille Thiriet, a structure defined by named bottlings and the practical scale of domaine production. "I wish to make 'climat' wines so I don't want to be blending," Camille has said.
Signature
The domaine's named work includes 2020 cuvée "Aux Montagnes" and Côte de Nuits Villages Aux Montagnes.
Awards and Standing
Professional recognition here sits inside a Burgundy brief built on exact sites, restrained scale, and attention to appellations outside the region's most familiar names, with Thiriet's work read through those choices rather than through volume. The domaine's proportion matters. Its output is defined by place, label, and estate work, with Thiriet's route through training, sales, and production informing the present practice without turning it into an expansion story.
