i. Biography
Chris Eden is a chef from Cornwall who joined Gidleigh Park in Chagford, Devon, as Executive Head Chef in September 2019 after 12 years as Head Chef at Driftwood in Portscatho, Cornwall. At Gidleigh Park, he helped the restaurant regain and then retain its Michelin star, with the star noted in 2023 and again in 2024. In 2024 he announced he would leave Gidleigh Park for Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall, where he later became executive chef.
