The Path
George Barson’s career runs through service at River Cottage in Devon, Cora Pearl in Covent Garden, and a long head-chef post at Kitty Fisher’s in Mayfair, London (2017–2023). Since 2023, Barson has been head chef at Beckford Canteen in Bath. “and he liked cooking quite outrageous stuff – great, classic, British cookery. He had a little book of his own recipes, so any chutney that I make is always one of his.” George has said.
