Il Hoon Kang is the Executive Chef of Post Ranch Inn and Sierra Mar in Big Sur, California. Post Ranch Inn describes his cooking as driven by pragmatism and curiosity, with ingredients presented simply and in combinations that are often surprising. Before joining Post Ranch Inn in February 2022, he held senior roles at Madera in Menlo Park, Commis in Oakland, The Restaurant at Meadowood in St. Helena, and Auberge Resort’s Calistoga Ranch.
