Training at California State University, Fresno gave Jeff Pisoni the technical base for a career that moved through some of California’s most respected cellars. That approach carried through his roles as winemaker at Peter Michael, winemaker at Bernardus, and Head Winemaker at Pisoni Estate, Lucia and Lucy, where each step added another layer of control over detail rather than display.

At Fort Ross Vineyard & Winery, Pinot Noir sets the terms.
