    i. Biography

    Valenciennes-born Philippe Dhalluin is the former managing director and winemaker of Château Mouton Rothschild. He worked at Château Beaumont from 1985 to 1988, led winemaking at Château Branaire-Ducru from 1988 to 2003 and then directed Mouton's technical program from 2003 until his retirement on 1 December 2020. His remit also extended across Baron Philippe de Rothschild's classified Pauillac estates, and he was succeeded at Mouton by Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy.
