Yesoon Lee is the chef/owner of Mandu in Washington, DC, where she and her son Danny Lee are identified by the restaurant as co-leaders of the kitchen and ownership team. Mandu opened in 2006 as DC’s first full-service Korean restaurant, with the original Dupont Circle location later closing after a fire and the current location operating in Mount Vernon Triangle. A Washingtonian profile also describes her as chef/co-owner of Mandu and cofounder of Anju in Dupont Circle.
