Trade discipline moved early here: Adam Foster trained at Continental Café before stepping into the kitchen at Lake House, first as chef and then as Head Chef at Lake House (2001–2002). He later moved into front-of-house operations as F&B Manager at Lake House, then in 2008 shifted into wine as winemaker and director at Syrahmi Wines in Tooborac, Victoria (from 2008). “So originally I'm a chef.” Adam has said.
