Aisha Ibrahim

Aisha Ibrahim was the executive chef at Canlis in Seattle, where she became the first woman to hold that role in the restaurant’s 70-plus-year history. Her career path includes kitchens such as Aqua, Commis, Manresa, Azurmendi, and Aziamendi in the Bay Area, Spain, and Thailand before she joined Canlis in 2021. She was recognized as a Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2023 and appeared on TIME’s 100 Next list.
