Albert Costa is today head winemaker, co-owner, and general manager of Celler Vall Llach, and he also serves as winemaker of Vall Llach winery. Signature

Albert’s signature wines include Idus, La Matilde, and La Catalina. The range is compact, and that compactness suits the stated aim of capturing Priorat rather than building a sprawling catalog. In that sense, the wines read as points of emphasis: named bottlings that keep the focus on place, identity, and precision.

In Their Words “In Priorat, we only have two Grand Cru sites. One is Mas de la Rosa. It means a lot to us and that’s what makes Mas de la Rosa very special and unique.” Costa speaks about Priorat in terms of site, value, and context.
