Albert Sastregener i Surroca is the chef and co-founder of Bo.TiC in Corçà, Girona, a restaurant he opened in 2007 with Cristina Torrent. Bo.TiC earned its first Michelin star within two years of opening and its second Michelin star in 2020, and Sastregener received the Premi Nacional de Gastronomia 2022 from the Acadèmia Catalana de Gastronomia i Nutrició. Official and press sources describe his cooking as a creative proposal rooted in traditional Catalan cuisine.
