Training at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga set the base. That sequence matters: floor service, bar back-up, and management all sit inside the same discipline. Since 2018, Death & Co Denver has been the main stage for that discipline, with Alex Jump serving there as Head Bartender and bar manager. The work also extends beyond the bar: co-founder of Focus on Health and brand ambassador of Seedlip.

Where They Are Now

At Death & Co Denver, the bar program sits with Alex Jump as both Head Bartender and bar manager, a dual role that keeps service and structure in the same frame. Focus on Health remains part of that wider practice. Sailor’s Paradise shows the shape of the thinking: the drink reads as something built with the room, the chefs, and the conversation around it, not as a standalone flourish. Alex Jump has said creativity needs room to breathe, and that holds across the career path here — service, management, and collaboration all kept in motion.
