Alexis Cornu

Alexis Cornu is the oenologist at Château de Berne in Flayosc, Provence, where he has been based for more than five years and has helped develop the estate’s rosé wines. The estate describes him as a Bordeaux native and says he studied plant biology before specializing in winemaking at Montpellier’s agronomy school; earlier in his career he worked as a cellar master, teacher, and oenologist, and later spent time in the Rhineland, Australia, Japan, Bandol, and the Rhône Valley.
