Family winery work set the pace at Familienweingut Tement, where Armin Tement joined in 2005 and entered a house already governed by exacting standards. The progression from vineyard to cellar to winemaker was shaped by daily estate work rather than abstract ambition, with the responsibilities of the family name carried in step with the demands of the site. Today, Armin is winemaker of Familienweingut Tement, a position that places him inside the estate’s core decisions and its ongoing expression.

Today

Origin, vintage, and process are treated as points of information, not decoration, in Armin Tement’s own framing: "To deliver all the information about that vine's journey through the year." The approach reads as a trade discipline, with transparency used to show how season and site remain visible in the finished wine. Closure choice follows the same logic. On Vinolok, Armin Tement has said: "We choose Vinolok glass closures for our wines because they ensure a natural bottle ageing process." It is a practical call, made to support bottle ageing as part of the wine’s intended path.

Signature

Armin's signature wines include Kalk & Kreide Sauvignon Blanc, Fosilni Breg Sauvignon Blanc, and Ried Zieregg KAR Sauvignon Blanc GSTK. Each label points back to a specific site language, while Sauvignon Blanc remains the thread running through the work.
