Training at the University of Guelph and the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program gave Bonnie den Haan a foundation in both agricultural practice and sector leadership. That combination has allowed her to move between farm, processor, and policy settings with the fluency the industry depends on. As chairperson of the Farm and Food Care Ontario Board in Ontario, she held a role tied to the work of supporting and communicating the value of the province’s farm and food community. Today, the dairy side of Bonnie den Haan’s work spans both production and processing. As co-operator of Haanview Holsteins and Sheldon Creek Dairy, she works in the operational discipline that keeps a dairy business consistent and functioning day to day. Since 2023, she has also served as vice-chair of the Farm Products Council of Canada, extending that same perspective into governance and oversight. Across these roles, the emphasis stays on stewardship, collaboration, and sustained commitment to Canadian agriculture.
