Since 2004, Carlos San Pedro has led the project at Bodegas Diosares in Laguardia, Álava. In 1998, he founded Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza in the same town. His vineyard-first language is direct: “There are just as many wines as there are people. Our concept of a wine starts in the vineyard.”
