At Château Lafite Rothschild in Bordeaux, France, the Technical Director and estate manager role carried the weight of one of the Médoc’s central names, and Charles Chevallier held it until 2015 with a measured hand. In 2016, he moved into senior advisor and brand ambassador at Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), shifting from direct estate oversight to a wider remit across the house’s identity and representation.
