Charlie Mitchell

Charlie Mitchell (born 1992) is an American chef and restaurateur based in New York City, specializing in soul food with a fine dining approach. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he is the Executive Chef and co-owner of Clover Hill in Brooklyn Heights, where he earned New York City's first Michelin star awarded to a Black chef in 2022. Mitchell has also served as Executive Chef at Saga, a two-Michelin-star restaurant, and won the James Beard Award for Best Chef in 2024.
