Christian Jackson

Training at Pobail schoil neasain led Christian Jackson into the trade through an apprenticeship at The Bloody Stream (1997–1999), where the foundations were set in service timing, floor awareness and the daily discipline of bar work. From there, the progression was incremental and practical: bartending at Shieling hotel (1999–2000), then at Judge Roy Bean’s (2000–2005), building the sort of behind-the-bar repetition that teaches pace, consistency and how to read a room without interruption. The move to Assistant Manager at Lillies bordello (2005–2013) marked a shift from execution to oversight, with Christian Jackson taking on more of the structure that sits behind service. That eight-year stretch was followed by Bar Manager at Fade Street Social - Restaurant - GastroBar - Cocktail Bar (2013–2024), a long run that placed him in charge of the moving parts that keep a busy operation aligned. In bar management, the work is less visible than the result: stock, timing, staffing and tone all have to land together, and his tenure points to sustained control over those details. A brief period as Stock Manager at Soho nightclub (2024) kept Christian Jackson close to the operational side of the business, before he stepped into General Manager of Viktor Kunovski VK (since 2024). The progression is direct: apprentice, bartender, Assistant Manager, Bar Manager, Stock Manager, General Manager. It is a career built through successive responsibilities rather than sudden leaps.
