Coming Up
Training at Virginia Tech gave Emily Pelton a technical base for work that depends on repeatable decisions in the cellar and a steady read on fruit, structure, and blend. Since 2001, Pelton has made wine at Veritas Vineyard and Winery, and since 2018 she has also split that work with co-ownership and winemaking at Flying Fox Vineyard.
