Where They Are Now

From 2009 to the present, the role has stayed the same: owner of Corte Aura, with Adro and Franciacorta still attached to the name. In wine, continuity is not a minor detail; it is part of the method. The same place, the same label, the same long attention to release after release gives the work its shape. What comes through is a house built on steady accumulation, where each vintage extends the one before it.

Signature

Federico Fossati’s signature wines are Brut, Satèn, Rosé, Pas Dosè, and Insè Pas Dosè Millesimato. Together, they map the range of Corte Aura’s house style: distinct bottles, each with its own register, held inside a single producer’s language. The line suggests a cellar that works through variation without breaking from its own discipline. Read as a group, the wines function less as a list than as a defined repertoire.

Honors

Federico Fossati’s honors include Decanter Silver Medal for Insè Pas Dosè Millesimato (2021). In that sense, the award reads as a point of recognition within an already established line of production.
