Francisco Baettig

The Climb

Francisco Baettig trained at University of Chile and University of Bordeaux, and that education shows in the discipline of his later appointments. In 2003, he became head winemaker at Viña Errázuriz in Aconcagua Valley, Chile, then in 2004 took on the role of winemaker at Viña Errázuriz in Chile. Read together, those roles mark a progression defined by responsibility: each step widened the scope of his decisions and the reach of his influence inside the winery. Today, Francisco is technical director of Errázuriz group, Chief Winemaker of Viña Seña, and Chief Winemaker of Viñedo Chadwick.
