The Path

Training at the University of Udine gave Gabriele Furletti the technical base for cellar work, before he moved into the role of enologo at an azienda viticola. Since 2018, that path has been carried through at Cantina Furletti in Riva del Garda, where he is owner and winemaker.

The Work Today

Since 2018, Cantina Furletti has been shaped under Furletti’s direction around a simple winemaking standard: preserve what is already in the fruit. His stated aim in the cellar is to keep the integrity of the aromas and flavors contained in each grape cluster, so the finished wines carry the same emotions for the drinker that they carry for the maker. That approach is tied to place as much as process, with character and authenticity framed as properties that should read the territory where the wines are made.

Signature

Gabriele's signature wines include Reiff Rosé, Reiff Extra Brut, Trento DOC Reiff Rosé, Furlet Bianco, and Furlet Rosso.
