The Path

In 2007, DAOU Vineyards was founded as the first fixed point in Georges Daou’s work, a move that turned ambition into a concrete estate. By 2013, PATRIMONY Wine had been added, extending the scope of that work without changing its discipline: build, hold, and keep shaping the site with intent. The throughline is continuity, with Georges Daou maintaining both ventures as parallel expressions of the same house approach.

The Work Today

The method here is not ornament but unlock: Georges Daou describes the work as bringing “passion, imagination, hard work, and energy to unlock the potential that was there to begin with.” That frames the craft in plain terms. It is an approach that reads the land first, then commits to the labor required to make its latent qualities legible.

Signature

PATRIMONY Cabernet Sauvignon and Soul of a Lion are among Georges’s signature wines, and they function as markers of the style attached to his name. Each wine sits within the larger architecture of the estates he leads, where scale and intent are carried through in the final bottle.
