Hans Neuner

Hans Neuner is an Austrian executive chef who has led Ocean restaurant in the Algarve, Portugal since 2007, earning the establishment two Michelin stars in 2009 and 2011. Named Portugal's Chef of the Year in 2009 and 2012, Neuner is recognized for his modern, precise cuisine centered on Atlantic seafood and Portuguese culinary heritage, particularly dishes inspired by the Age of Discovery. He was ranked 62nd among the world's best chefs in the Best Chef Awards and is known for his seasonal tasting menus that blend Portuguese ingredients with international influences.
