i. Biography
In Made By terms, the craft is in how those roles reinforce one another: authorship gives the ideas form, production gives them a material edge, and the company keeps the work in circulation.

The Path
The arc of his career reads as layered practice rather than a single track: writing shapes the thinking, product creation turns that thinking into a drinkable form, and company-building gives it a vessel. Since 2010, Jack from Brooklyn Inc. has carried that structure, while Sorel Liqueur has remained the work most closely tied to his name. Across those roles, Summers has built a profile marked by initiative and a consistent personal stamp.
The Work Today
His present work spans three roles. He is the creator of Sorel Liqueur, the founder and CEO of JackFromBrooklyn Inc, and a name associated with Wine Enthusiast Future 40. Taken together, those roles place product and company in the same frame, with one supporting the other rather than standing apart. Sorel Liqueur sits at the center of his public identity, while JackFromBrooklyn Inc. provides the structure behind it.
Being associated with Wine Enthusiast Future 40 places Summers within a wider field of recognition, extending the reach of the work beyond a single label or title.
