Jamie Mammano

Jamie Mammano is the chef/owner of Ostra in Boston’s Back Bay, a contemporary Mediterranean seafood restaurant at One Charles Street South. Ostra’s official site identifies him as chef/owner and says the restaurant is inspired by local and European varieties of seafood; the restaurant’s press materials say Mammano opened Mistral in 1997 and built his reputation through work at The Jockey Club, Le Pavillon in Washington, D.C., service as chef for the United States Ambassador to Spain, and 10 years with the Four Seasons Hotel Company across Washington, Seattle, Chicago, and Boston properties.
