Culinary Institute of America provided the formal base for the kitchen work that followed. In 2016, Jeffrey Hayden became Head Chef at Del Popolo, a step that placed him in a defined leadership role and sharpened the practical demands of service. In 2023, he took on the role of chef at Love & Salt, continuing a sequence of named positions across restaurants with different rhythms and expectations. That trajectory now carries into Prada a Tope, where Hayden is chef. The throughline is plain enough: training, then responsibility, then another room to apply the same habits of discipline, restraint, and attention to how flavor is assembled.
