i. Biography
Jeremy Cukierman works at the intersection of wine retail, teaching, authorship, and industry communication. In Paris, he is a wine merchant and co-founder and co-CEO of Des Mets des Vins; Before wine became the center of his professional work, he spent a short period in advertising agencies, an early setting that helped shape the clarity and precision of his later voice in the trade.
The Path
The path through wine, education, and communication has defined Jeremy Cukierman’s career more than any single role. At Kedge Wine School (until 2024), KEDGE Business School (2018–2024), Great Wine Capitals Global Network (2020–2024), and La Revue du Vin de France (2022–2024), he moved across institutions that each require the same discipline: translating complexity into terms professionals can use. The common thread is not promotion, but explanation. That same thread extends through the roles he holds today. As communications & Sustainability Director of Artémis Domaines (since 2024), Wine Author, wine & sustainability professor, and Union de la sommellerie française (since 2018), Jeremy Cukierman works across practice, teaching, advocacy, and publication. The titles point to a career built around wine as a field of knowledge, not only a product category.
The Work Today
The present shape of Jeremy Cukierman’s work rests on two forms of practice: commerce and education. As a wine merchant in Paris and co-founder and co-CEO of Des Mets des Vins in Paris, he stays close to the daily demands of selection, sale, and presentation. That combination gives the work its tone: practical, articulate, and attentive to context. Across buying, teaching, authorship, and sustainability, the emphasis is on how wine is discussed as much as how it is moved. His own formulation is spare and direct: “I believe great wines come from great places.” He also holds the WSET Dip, a credential that sits behind the range of settings in which he works and helps explain the confidence with which he moves between the cellar, the classroom, and the page.
In Their Words “I believe great wines come from great places.”
