Training at University of Technology Sydney gave John Ibrahim a base for the discipline that later defined his work. The move from study into enterprise ran through the purchase of Dysart House in Kempton and into the building of Callington Mill Distillery in Oatlands, Tasmania. Where They Are Now

Founder is the current role at Callington Mill Distillery, and it captures the scale of John Ibrahim’s involvement in the business. Tasmanian whisky remains the throughline of the work, with the distillery in Oatlands carrying forward the logic first set in motion at Dysart House in Kempton. Each step has added another layer to a practice defined by place and purpose.
