The Climb
The early work sits in planning, research, and internal strategy. At Materia Gris Publicidad, Juan Camilo Tamayo worked as a Junior Planner from 2009–2010; at Independiente, he served as advisor in methodological research in 2012–2012; and at ISAGEN S.A, he was an Environmental Team Intern in 2012–2012. From 2014–2020, the planning side of the practice narrowed toward Relational Marketing and commercial strategy through roles at TRACK Colombia and Multisponsor, where he worked across CRM, BIG Holding, and multisponsor structures. Teaching and growth work now extend that planning base into applied marketing. Since 2018, Juan Camilo Tamayo has been professor of Relational Marketing (CRM) at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. Since 2022, he has also worked at Dentsu Creative as Solution Growth and marketing and Brand Strategist, while serving as Growth Hacker at Chef® Company.
