i. Biography
Laurent Pourcel is a French chef and one of the twin brothers behind Jardin des Sens, first opened in Montpellier in 1988 and later relaunched at Hôtel Richer de Belleval in Montpellier. He and his brother Jacques earned three Michelin stars for Jardin des Sens, and later were described by Michelin as the chefs at the helm of the Montpellier restaurant in Hôtel Richer de Belleval. He is also associated with the Jardin des Sens project in Ho Chi Minh City, which has been described as the work of the Pourcel brothers.
