Manuel Lobo

Manuel Lobo is the winemaker associated with Quinta do Crasto in the Douro Valley, Portugal, where he joined in 2007. He was the estate’s director of winemaking until 2023 and now serves as consultant winemaker, while continuing to work on terroir-driven, old-vine, single-vineyard and single-varietal wines from the property. His earlier career included studies in Bordeaux and winemaking work in Australia, Napa Valley, and at Montez Champalimaud in the Douro.
