    i. Biography

    Mary-Ellen McTague is a Manchester-area chef, writer, and restaurateur whose career has included Michelin-starred training at Sharrow Bay Country House Hotel and four years working under Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck, where she rose to sous chef and later worked in historical research and development. She has led or co-led restaurants and food projects in Greater Manchester including Aumbry in Prestwich, 4244 in Manchester, The Creameries in Chorlton, and Pip at Treehouse Hotel Manchester, while also co-founding Eat Well MCR, a community food charity.
