    i. Biography

    Masahiro “Masa” Urushido is the managing partner and director of deliciousness at Katana Kitten in New York City’s West Village, a Japanese-American cocktail bar he opened in 2018 with Greg Boehm and James Tune. He previously served as head bartender at Saxon + Parole in New York, and earlier his work in bars and restaurants began when he was a teenager in Japan. He has been recognized as the 2022 North America’s Bartenders’ Bartender and as the 2022 Altos Bartender’s Bartender, reflecting his standing in the cocktail industry.
