Mathieu Viannay is a French chef born July 14, 1967, in Versailles, who has led the iconic La Mère Brazier restaurant in Lyon since 2008. He earned the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) in 2004 and brought La Mère Brazier to two Michelin stars by March 2009, continuing the legacy of Eugénie Brazier, the first female chef to achieve three Michelin stars.
