The Career

The cooking starts in a Northwest childhood home, at the table of an Egyptian mother and a Mexican father. Later, while living in France, Megan Sanchez continued her gastronomic study through work in agriculture and cheesemaking. The route runs from family table to France, from farming and dairy work to the Portland kitchen where she now cooks as chef and co-owner. It reads as accumulation rather than reinvention: each stage adding another layer to the same point of view.
