Pepe Solla is the chef and owner of Casa Solla in Poio, Pontevedra, a family restaurant founded by his parents José and Amelia in 1961. He has led the kitchen since 2003, having previously worked in the dining room and as a sommelier, and Casa Solla has held a Michelin star continuously since 1980. He is also identified as a cofounder of Grupo NOVE, a collective that helped modernize Galician cuisine.
