i. Biography
Peter Liem is an American wine writer who specializes in Champagne and Sherry, and co-founded La Fête du Champagne with Daniel Johnnes in 2014. He has published ChampagneGuide.net since 2009, wrote the award-winning book Champagne (2017) and co-wrote Sherry, Manzanilla & Montilla (2012). He began in wine retail in San Francisco in the mid-1990s, was a senior editor at Wine & Spirits from 2004, and moved to Champagne in 2006.
