Ralf Schlegel is the executive chef at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, where he oversees the culinary concepts for The Belvedere and the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. He was appointed to the role in March 2022 after serving as executive chef at The Jefferson Hotel in Washington, D.C., where he led Plume and helped earn a Michelin star in 2016. Described in industry coverage as a third-generation chef trained in French, German, and Italian cuisine, he brings more than two decades of hospitality and Michelin-starred restaurant experience to Beverly Hills.
