Rob Tod founded Allagash Brewing Company in Portland, Maine in 1995. He wanted to begin with one beer only, and he said, “I wanted to start with one beer, and one beer only: a Belgian-style wheat beer called Allagash White.”
The Path
Rob Tod trained at Siebel Institute in Chicago, where his path into brewing began to take shape. In 1995, he founded Allagash Brewing Company, a role he holds today.

Since 1995, he has remained the founder of Allagash Brewing Company in Portland, Maine.
