Continuity matters in sparkling wine production, and since 2019 Samuel Hacaj has been building on the family line that came before him. The work sits inside Bobulles, where the brief is not reinvention for its own sake but continuation through method. “Bobulles is a family winery that I founded together with my father, Ing. Vladimír Hacaj, in 2019 so that we could continue the family tradition of producing sparkling wines.” Samuel has said.

Where They Are Now

The target is explicit: the house is aiming at a range of sparkling wines that can sit alongside well-known French Champagne wines on quality. In Samuel Hacaj’s wording, that benchmark is the standard the winery is working toward.

Signature

Samuel's signature wines include Classique Brut and Rizling rýnsky Brut.

In Their Words The house name carries the production logic: Bobulles comes from the French word bulles, meaning bubbles. That etymology tells you the category first, before any branding.
