On the sales side of the family’s wineries, Santiago is now active while also having founded / launched CMC Conti Marone Cinzano of CMC Conti Marone Cinzano (since 2025). The shift from production to sales widens the scope of the job without changing its reference point: the same Tuscan base, now translated into conversations with buyers and the market. The work stays anchored in the estate world, but it also carries the family story outward.

In Montalcino, where identity and precision are part of the category itself, the role sits between making and presenting. The label has to answer to both the vineyard and the market, and the work reflects that double demand: commercial on one side, tied to a family presence in Montalcino on the other.

Signature

Lot.1 by Conti Marone Cinzano is Santiago's signature wine. The name signals a first release and a deliberate start, rather than a broad or routine program. Within the family’s wine world, it is the clearest statement of his direction: a project that reads as a beginning, with the family name carried directly on the bottle.

Recognition

Lot.1 by Conti Marone Cinzano, dated 2019, is the clearest marker of Marone Cinzano’s recognition. It is his signature work and the first Brunello di Montalcino to bear the family name, issued in a small run of hand-numbered bottles. In a category that places weight on place, lineage, and exact naming, that format gives the wine a specific identity: counted, named, and tied directly to Montalcino. Hand-numbering changes how the bottle is read. Lot.1 is not anonymous production; it carries sequence, authorship, and a direct family signature on Brunello di Montalcino. The result is both introduction and declaration, with the scale kept tight and the presentation kept personal.
