The Path

University of California, Davis gave Sarah Quider the technical base that would carry through the rest of her work. Her first harvest role at Ferrari-Carano in 1995 placed her in the pace of season work, where timing and execution matter more than theory. She returned to Ferrari-Carano as Assistant Winemaker in 2003, then moved into the Executive Winemaker role in 2014. Seen together, those positions show a career built through repetition, refinement, and long exposure to the demands of cellar and vineyard work in Sonoma County. By 2021, Sarah Quider was also Vice President of winemaking, Foley Family Wines Sonoma County Portfolio at Foley Family Wines in Sonoma County. That role extends the same discipline across a broader portfolio, tying hands-on winemaking to oversight across multiple programs.

The Work Today

In 2024, Sarah Quider added ownership to her record by opening Healdsburg Bubble Bar in Healdsburg. The company brings her experience into a public-facing setting, with the same emphasis on precision now attached to an independent business. Her named specialties are white wines and Pinot Noir programs, including the Russian River White Wine Program. Within the white wine work, the focus includes Pinot Grigio, Fume Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier. These are styles that depend on exact handling and close attention to detail, and they sit at the center of the range associated with her name.
